Slow Flow
Slow flow brings the element of time into the practice. The practitioner has time to evaluate how and when a pose should be modified, due to physical limitations or limitations in experience. The practitioner also has the time to mentally engage with the body, as it moves through a series. The mind and body connection is one of the main goals when practicing all forms of Yoga. Slow flowing Vinyasa is a wonderful practice in discovering one’s personal limitations and learning how to move past those limitations.  All levels of Yoga practitioners can find their personal challenges, as they slowly and mindfully move through a series. The pace may be slower, but challenges will be present with difficulties to work through. Even the most advanced Yoga practitioner has much to learn within the reflective pace of slow Vinyasa. Poses can be refined and strengthened, without feeling rushed into the next move, next breath, or next pose. Slow flow allows a person to become familiar with his or her body, create a reflective pause, and create the time to go inward. Slow Vinyasa Yoga is a therapeutic dance of moving meditation.
Seasonal Vinyasa Flow
Seasonal yoga is a dynamic yoga practice designed to keep the practitioner in balance with the changing energies of nature. As the seasons change, so do we and this is reflected in our yoga practice both on and off the mat.  You will notice that in the height of summer, we seem to have an abundance of energy that propels us out of bed early and helps us to stay up and be social into the wee hours of the morning but in the winter we need a little more TLC to fight the desire to hibernate.Seasonal Vinyasa describes an artistic style of sequencing asana and seasonal daily rituals. The main inspiration for Seasonal Vinyasa comes from the Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda traditions, two complementary sciences that promote health in body, mind, and spirit. While inspiring the self-knowledge to adjust your day-to-day choices and align with what is occurring outside in nature, Seasonal Vinyasa emphasizes the teachings of the yogis-that there is no separation between humans and nature.
